Out and about, Gawthorpe.

Ann, Barbara, Pauline and I  had a trip out today to Gawthorpe hall. First a quick sandwich and then we mounted the stairs to the Inspired exhibition. It is being displayed in the same room as our previous exhibition. The original plans had to be abandoned due to the amount of pieces submitted. I counted about 85.

015 I believe that my pals are studying Pams piece so I will show you this next,

Out and about,Blackpool

Barbara and I went to Blackpool last Friday, not to paddle but to visit the North Pier. Lytham St Annes and Blackpool branches were holding a joint exhibition at the end of the pier.002The mayor of Blackpool and his wife officially opened the event. There was a wide range of pieces of work, a raffle {where i won a book} and sales table.

007We each  had a hard decision to make, choosing our favourite piece. There were several that really caught m eye.Congratulations to both branches for all their hard work. Its a shame that it is now over and you cannot visit,
