Barbara and I went to Blackpool last Friday, not to paddle but to visit the North Pier. Lytham St Annes and Blackpool branches were holding a joint exhibition at the end of the pier.
The mayor of Blackpool and his wife officially opened the event. There was a wide range of pieces of work, a raffle {where i won a book} and sales table.
We each had a hard decision to make, choosing our favourite piece. There were several that really caught m eye.Congratulations to both branches for all their hard work.Its a shame that it is now over and you cannot visit,
