At our last workshop there was mention of transfer paints. Pauline remembered that we had purchased a box of them years ago for members use. Several members did not know what to do so Pauline volunteered a demo. She brought along lots of samples and we spent the morning painting paper ready to transfer later. After lunch we had a demo of this transfer technique and then as you do, we tried something new and transerred onto lace . This worked to we added foining to the list. pauline also reminded us about a similar technique with transfer crayons , but I had forgotten to bring mine along.

Another demo, using my new flat iron
Pauline worked on lace, and polyester fabrics
and added foiling
even to the lace.
Barbara also had a little workshop where she demonstrated how she made shopping bags. a couple of members tried to make such a bag using some of the many fabrics that Barbara had brought along. I understand that the plan is to sell these along with other hand made articles in the Autumn. Apologies Barbara I was so busy painting paper that I did not take any photos.
