October meeting.

A very busy night. Barbara began our show and tell with her completed piece , a collaged landscape.

Eileen then told us that she had recently found a packet of buttons and had incorporated them into small stuffed toys. Dont tell the grandchildren as santa is coming soon!!!!

Our talk "My textile story" was the main event of the night, Corinne had travelelled down from Carnforth with an amazing collection of her work. She is constantly inspired by flowers and more recently ,butterflies which she recreates in machine  embroidery. Have a look at some of her work, below. You can almost smell their fragrance.
