Out and about,Ordsall Hall

What a busy weekend.I have just returned from an invitation to the Ten Plus exhibition at Ordsall hall. The Hall is a little gem and was extremely busy when we arrived, lots of youngsters learning about Tudor life, which i found delightful.

Diana Shone had sent the invitation ,and as I love her work, I was delighted to attend.004Apologies for the light in this one. This one is better.

We also chatted to Barbara Jepson who visited us last year. One of her colourful spring pieces is below.

002In fact at times it was hard to see the embroideries as we spoke to so many friends and acquaintances. I would recommend a trip. Its not far and on until 9thJune.

Ordsall Hall. Salford,M5 3AN. I suggest you phone first as there opening days can vary.0161 778 0800

  1. I too was there on that day and how wonderful it was to see not only the fantastic work of the 10+ group but also the newly renovated Ordsall Hall. It is well worth a visit.
If anyone wants to see more of Barbara Jepson's work I own 9 pieces and am happy to have visitors to my home and studio in Whitworth. Come for tea and cakes.
