I have just returned from a Padiham branch meeting. Val Anderson entertained us with an excellent account of the discovery and development of silk fabric.
however we gained twice the price as she did some short demonstrations and displayed some of her work,too.
Val still makes cards and scarves. I was really impressed by the “Shibori” technique and must have a go very soon.
